Dr. Hassan Zamir is an Associate Professor and Director of Informatics at ºÃÉ«TV's School of Information Studies. He holds a PhD in Information Science from the University of South Carolina. His research examines social media, misinformation, and AI, including TikTok's algorithms, alongside grant-funded work on generative AI in education and AI literacy training for K-12 schools. He teaches data science, cybersecurity, and information technology.
